Can you believe December 1st, 2015 is here? Almost 2016 and it’s time to enjoy the holiday season and also think ahead to how you’re going to market in 2016. I have one idea I’d like to share with you.
About a month ago, I was chatting with my partner and we were talking about how much it sucks to be zooming down your feed in Facebook, Twitter, or say Instagram and boom it’s an ad.
No one really wants an ad. So we started talking about the type of advertising and marketing you should do on social media.
We started making little visual tidbits and calling them Ad Cards. They aren’t an ad. They are sort of the anti-ad of advertising as nutty as that sounds.
Basically, an Ad Card gives someone a tidbit of information about your business or industry. Something to know. If they are in the market for that, they will click to find out more, if they know someone who is – they will share it. People don’t tend to share ads.
Each Ad Card is custom made at the time of order and branded with the client’s brand info right on the image.
The idea is that you link to a blog post or product page with more information – not just an order form.
This is for a client who helps travelers acquire international driver’s permits
used on social media and in a blog post.
